Cauliflower and Macaroni
1. Steam whole cauliflower just until stem is tender. Keep the water (you will need it). Make sure this pot is large enough. This is where you will be cooking the macaroni.
2. Heat olive oil in the bottom of another pot (pot needs to be large enough for all cauliflower and all macaroni).
3. Add a layer of garlic powder.
4. Put 1 can of peeled plum tomatoes through a blender and pour them in. Cook on high til tomatoes bubble up from the bottom.
5. Add a layer of salt and pepper.
6. Chunk all of the steamed cauliflower, and toss into the pot with the heated oil/blended tomatoes. Add a bit of the water from the pot where you steamed the cauliflower.
7. Back in the pan where you steamed the cauliflower, cook macaroni for 10 min. Add new water if necessary.
8. Pour now cooked macaroni and some of the water into the pot with cauliflower/tomato. Mix together.
9. Serve with grated Romano cheese.
